Research And Fellowship

Dr Vijaysegaran is one of the Fellowship Co-Directors of the Brisbane Shoulder Fellowship which was established by Dr Kenneth Cutbush, which trains surgeons from around Australia and all over the world.

The aim of the fellowship program is to enable orthopaedic surgeons to gain sub-specialist training in advanced arthroscopic shoulder skills. During the program, fellows will get exposure to arthroscopic surgery, from basic arthroscopic skill development such as performing sub acromial decompressions and cuff procedures, to advanced skills such as superior capsular reconstructions, muscle advancements and arthroscopic Latarjet, along with arthroscopic brachial plexus dissections. 

Six month and 12-month programs are available.
